Individuals NOT ELIGIBLE for the Procedure
Under age 18
Pregnant or nursing
History of keloid scars
Hemophilia or bleeding disorders
Epilepsy
HIV/AIDS
Hepatitis or jaundice
Accutane use in the past year (must discontinue for at least one year)
Viral infections or diseases
Health Conditions and Medications
Glaucoma
Taking blood-thinning medications
Iron deficiency anemia
Skin cancer or disorders near the treatment area (e.g., shingles, psoriasis, eczema, rashes)
Allergies to alcohol, numbing agents, or makeup pigments
Heart problems or uncontrolled high blood pressure
Any illness, treatment, or medication that compromises the immune system or healing
Procedures to Avoid Close to Appointment
Botox within 4 weeks of your appointment
Chemical peels within 2 weeks of your appointment
PRE-CARE
INSTRUCTIONS
Not adhering to these instructions may cause more pain during the procedure and jeopardize the healed results.
What to Avoid Before Your Procedure
No excessive alcohol consumption 24 hours before your procedure.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning one week prior to the procedure.
Do not take Aspirin, Niacin (Vitamin B3), Vitamin E, or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before.
Refrain from brow waxing, tinting, microdermabrasion, or chemical peels 1-2 weeks prior.
Discontinue the use of Accutane/Retin-A or acne medication at least 6 months before the procedure.
Avoid Botox or filler treatments around the brow or forehead area for at least 4 weeks prior.
Stop using eyelash growth serum 6 months before the brow procedure.
Additional Consideration
Be aware that sensitivity may increase during your menstrual cycle.
